Perfect places for spending the day or night on the beach.
What we liked was that there were two very laid back bars on the beach as soon as we walked onto the boardwalk, Landshark and Margaritteville. Unfortunately, we will not be going back there because of the lack of care to the living accommodations. Before leaving the hotel we spoke with the Manager, stating we did not wish to move rooms, but wanted to make sure this issue was given attention once we departed. We stuck it out for our two nights there and just stayed away from the main bath sinks. Woah!! Housekeeping came immediately and tried cleaning it, but the smell stayed. Dated rooms are split into two towers: the original Ocean Tower and the newer Rendezvous Tower. Located on the boardwalk, this hotel has evolved its original Art Deco theme into a 'Roaring Twenties' theme, building on the success of HBOs Boardwalk Empire. As I got close to one of the sinks I realized it was urine we were smelling. Resorts Casino Hotel opened as the first casino in Atlantic City in 1978. However as we began to unpack our toiletries in the main bathroom, we began to notice a foul, fishy smell. Beautiful!! We were not expecting this at all. They actually upgraded us to the 10 floor, ocean view, one bedroom suite. The front desk was amazingly cooperative an accommodating. We asked to be moved to a different room. Nice set up, nice view, bit there was a bad mildew odor which got worse in the bathroom. We were given a room on the 4th floor with am ocean view. The Resorts had a number of issues with the hotel accommodations.
This was my first time at an Atlantic City Hotel/Casino and my boyfriends 7th.
